graffiti

recently i have been researching and studying graffiti, particularly LA based graffiti art. i've always found this type of painting/drawing/creating to be extremely interesting and surprisingly thought provoking. some of my favorites include


this bottom artist is from english artist banksy. not la based but nonetheless still great

  2. Rachel, I have never really thought of graffiti as something other than vandalism, but you post definitely shows the artistic side to graffiti. I really like the last one; it definitely is thought provoking and holds lots of meaning.

  5. Rache! I love graffiti. I have studied it a while and have always been really into it. Banksy as you know is a really well known graffiti artist. He does lots of mice. But I always found it so intriguing that he used photo transfers with rice paper I believe it was. The reason why I say this is because I feel like you meshed three very different artists into one post. What does each one mean to you?
